If you're into automotive restoration, or if you've ever been involved in an automotive restoration project, finding parts, especially auto body parts, is sometimes maddening, if not seemingly impossible. Auto body parts--replacement parts--seem to be built for the new and newer. The older the vehicle's age that you're restoring, the more difficult it is to find parts; or, the rarer the vehicle is that you're restoring, the tougher it is to find parts. And, I guess that's only natural, but it sure does drive you crazy. Up until lately I'd just about go crazy as I was on the phone forever trying out used auto parts stores trying to find those rare auto body parts. It really did take a ton of time, and it was often a lost cause. But, I don't have to worry about those old school methods anymore. Yes, the Web is a gold mine of hard to find auto body parts, that is, they are much easier to find now (they just used to be a lot harder to find with the old-fashioned methods) than they ever were before.
