There are instructions floating all over the Internet for kits that you can build to split water into hydrogen and oxygen that supposedly increase the mileage as well, but until they start selling the kits at auto parts stores, it's likely that a whole lot of people will pass that gas saving technique by until they are proven safe for the engine.
